Inclusive cultures and practices – for individuals and their organisations
Testimonials
The environment you have created in such a short space of time within our faculty has not only enhanced our productivity but also made our workplace a more enjoyable and inspiring place to be
Steve Jarvis, Head of Art & Design, Wrexham University
Stewart worked as a partner with the Faculty. Collaborating to develop our professors and academic leaders, he equipped them with the knowledge, confidence and motivation to create a more inclusive culture. He examined Bath’s context and established approaches that were highly relevant, increasing engagement and impact. His facilitation of sessions during 2023 and 2024 was inclusive, thoughtful and suitably challenging. Participants were keen to take part, recognising Stewart’s approach was helping them to be more effective in their roles.
Prof Tim Ibell, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Design, University of Bath
Stewart allowed us to take the next steps on embedding EDI across the School, providing a cross-sector perspective from both industry and universities
Professor Cindy Smith, EDI Committee Chair, James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow
Stewart’s unique experience combining both academia and engineering industries was invaluable to the Royal Academy of Engineering project I led at Canterbury Christ Church University. Our EDI engineering employability learning toolkit benefitted from his facilitation of nearly 100 employer responses, as well as his advice and input to the toolkit itself. On top of this he provided development in inclusive approaches for our academic and industry partners.
Professor Anne Nortcliffe, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Computing & Engineering, Wrexham University
