Inclusive cultures and practices – for individuals and their organisations
Inclusion in Bids for Projects and Funding
Evolving expectations of UKRI and other funders has placed EDI as an essential enabling factor for universities. Increasingly it is becoming a requirement for commercial bidding, be it initiatives such as Fairness, Inclusion & Respect, or obligations within public sector contracts.
Action plans are requested at bidding stage, and audited during evaluations. Our experience across organisations and projects can be brought to bear to develop action plans and work packages tailored to the funder and the planned project. Looking at the impact for individuals, we ensure credibility and practicality that readily ensures impact while generating evidence.
We can also collaborate on proposals to carry out impactful EDI projects. In such cases, we would be happy to work with you to design a project that we help deliver once funded.
Stewart’s unique experience combining both academia and engineering industries was invaluable to the Royal Academy of Engineering project I led at Canterbury Christ Church University. Our EDI engineering employability learning toolkit benefitted from his facilitation of nearly 100 employer responses, as well as his advice and input to the toolkit itself. On top of this he provided development in inclusive approaches for our academic and industry partners.
